Teaching Tools
Microsoft Office 365

Microsoft Office 365 has many useful tools one can utilize such as PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Outlook and Excel. I have become quite familiar with PowerPoint and Word to effectively build engaging digital lesson plans and creative "Powersheets" to aid in my future teaching career.
Flippity

As a teacher, Flippity can be used to randomly create groups for an upcoming group activity, as well as seating arrangements for the beginning of the school year. This tool can also be used to create trivia, or to build flashcards. I will definitely be using Flippity as a future educator.
Creating Online
edpuzzle

Teachers can utilize edpzzle to create engaging and interactive videos for there students. This app allows you to stop the video at a chosen point and add voice notes, multiple choice questions, or more creative questions that utilize HLT such as open-ended questions. I found edpuzzle to be very useful in creating effective digital lesson plans.
Thinglink

Teachers can use this app to create a fun and interactive digital lesson. With Thinglink, you can capture a 360 degree image of anything you like. From there you can then add tags to that image such as informative videos, text, or even internet links. I found Thinglink to be a lot of fun and I will be using this creative tool throughout my career.
Collaboration
Flipgrid

Teachers can utilize this app to record themselves to create lectures for their students and view fellow teachers' videos for collaborative purposes. It also allows students to create videos to enhance engagement with curricular activities. I would use Flipgrid as a kind of check-up or quick student evaluation.
Google Apps

There is a multitude of useful aspects of Google Apps that teaches can incorporate into their classrooms. Such features include Google classroom, forms, sheets, drive, docs, and slides. These apps are easy to use and are a fundamental resource for any modern-day educator. They allow collaboration, assessment, the creation of lessons and lectures, and also aid in tracking individual student progress. I will be utilizing Google Apps throughout my career as an educator.
