EDTS 232 Professional Dimensions of Teaching
Instructor: Christy Gust
This class was an integral part of my first semester in the Education program. I was able to learn many new ideas and incorporate teaching terminology into my weekly journals. I was also able to utilize the teaching practices and techniques learned in this class during my practicum experiences at Alexandra Middle School. Through the Tutorial portion of this class, I was able to reflect weekly on what had transpired during my practicum visits and further understand the inner workings of teaching.
EDTS 321 Educational Psychology
Instructor: Dr. Colleen Whidden
This class has shown me just how important it is for a teacher to have a working knowledge of educational psychology in order to better understand and diagnose what each individual student may need to further their learning experience.
ENG 202 Reading and Writing About Literature
Instructor: Jeremy Jackson
This class has instilled in me an unforeseen passion for writing and expressing myself intellectually as well as philosophically. This class has also shown me the importance of articulating one's thoughts in a way that can inspire others.
