EDTS 234 Professional Dimensions of Teaching II
Instructor: Christy Gust
Through this class, I was able to develop my own teaching philosophy to better realize how I wish to teach my future students. I was also able to create a lesson plan that the students from my practicum class could learn and become engaged with. Furthermore, this class has taught me the importance of reflecting on my own teaching strategies and how to build off of those practicum experiences.
ENGL 203 Reading and Writing about Literature II
Instructor: Jeremy Jackson
Through this class, I have developed a greater understanding of the structure that must go into great writing. I have also come to understand the many elements of fiction and how to incorporate these into my writing to better enhance my writing.
GNED 220 Texts and Ideas
Instructor: Dr.Jana Smith Elford
This class has opened my eyes to a history of political ideas dating as far back as Plato and Aristotle. This class has also shown me that through the writing of great fiction, authors have been able to help shape society's views for better equality and a better way of life for all people.
